Beginner Free activity home made math Little House Measurement

Welcome to the launch of home made math, to celebrate we're kicking off with a free activity: "How big is a bear?"

This measurement activity is designed for beginner mathematicians  (Foundation/Kinder to grade 2 or ages 5-8years). It is part of a unit on measurement inspired by Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingall Wilder. You can find the entire unit here in the shop. The unit also has a pdf printable of a life size bear and an advanced pathway to make it accessible to multiage settings.
