If you follow me on Instagram you might remember around 6 months ago I stumbled onto the Dash into Reading books while searching for some easy phonics books for my 6 year old.
I was so excited to find beautifully illustrated stories that made sense, but that could still be read phonetically. A few of you went and got the books and also fell in love. Well, heads up! Dash into Reading are having an awesome deal today only (17th of December 2018).
You can get the first book Fan and Sam for FREE And then the rest of the program for 50% off! There are 10 books in the series (the baby just kept stealing them in the photo below).
Because I'd already raved on instagram about how much I liked the books, Amelia reached out to me to spread the word, and if you claim the deals through the links on this page I'll get a wee commission at no extra cost to you.
Simply click on any of the images in this post or HERE to claim your free copy and then the 50% off deal will be offered to you.
I had a few questions about the wording in the books from a few people not from the United States, i.e. "Is there a lot of "MOM"? etc" So here is what you need to know if like me you say Mum ;)
In book 10 (the last book) there is "Mom" 3 times as it is about a Mother fox and her kits. Book 7 is about "my pal" - sight American term but pretty mild. Other books have "sis" and "mutt" which I had to explain to my daughter, but I suppose that might just be our family.
(They are so good the 4 yr old snuck them all up to his bed to look at the illustrations, too cute)
