This measurement activity uses scaled models as weights and balanced scales to find your weight in relation to the weight of one Sea Cow. Great for visual, hands on learners, we are looking at weight as well as introducing multiplication/division and ratio. It is designed for 8-10 year olds but go with what you feel your child is up to and adjust as required. I'm so keen for you to jump on the inspired math activity band wagon that this month I'm giving you a bumper free activity! This one is from the Mathematics of the Jungle Book Unit available in the shop. It's designed for the early intermediate mathematician approximately grade 3- 4 (7-9 yrs).
